Uthappam Recipe

What is Uthappam?

There are so many South Indian breakfast options that help you start your day just right. One of the most scrumptious and filling South Indian dishes for breakfast is the famous Uthappam. I call it the Dosa’s chubby cousin. It is so soft in the middle and so crispy on the sides. Added bonus, it is one of the healthier south Indian tiffins, as compared to Dosa since it has so many vegetables like onions, tomatoes, capsicum, carrots, etc. The finely chopped green chilies also add a spicy kick to this South Indian breakfast food.

The Filling Vegan South Indian Breakfast

This filling dish also falls perfectly in the vegan food chain. If you are on a vegan diet, the Uthappam is one of the tastiest vegan breakfast recipes to add to your list! Vegan food is not so difficult if you are looking in the Indian food department. There are simply so many dishes and so many vegan recipes that are waiting to be savoured! So whether you prefer vegetarian food or vegan meals for breakfast, the Uthappam is one of the best South Indian tiffin items that fits the bill perfectly.
